In this newly-created role, he will establish and expand the digital American presence, reach, and identity for HELLO!, one of the United Kingdom's most popular and successful celebrity and lifestyle brands. Ravitz will be working with colleagues in New York, London, Los Angeles and elsewhere around the globe on editorial strategy and standards, news coverage, brand exclusives, plus new video, audio and social media initiatives. Ravitz previously served as Executive Editor, Digital at Us Weekly, Executive Editor, Digital for Rolling Stone and Deputy Editor at Refinery29, with clips in New York, Out, Town and Country, Time Out New York, Daily Beast, The Advocate and elsewhere. HELLO! magazine launched in 1988, and is part of the HOLA group, the publisher behind ¡HOLA! magazine, a Spanish-language celebrity-lifestyle brand founded in Barcelona in 1944 by the husband and wife team of Antonio Sánchez Gómez and Mercedes Junco Calderón. With a presence on six continents, this independent, family-owned media company boasts a combined global reach of 70 million unique visitors monthly, 28 million social media followers, and 15 million weekly print readers. Ravitz will report to Sophie Vokes-Dudgeon, HELLO!'s Head of Digital, and starts work in the NYC offices the week of January 17.

"I'm so thrilled to have Justin on board, to spearhead the expansion of our US operation," says Vokes-Dudgeon. "In the past two years we've seen a huge increase in our American audience, clearly embracing our uniquely positive and celebratory approach to entertainment and lifestyle content. Justin's fantastic experience, proven editorial leadership, and clear passion for all things celebrity and digital will be a huge asset to our brand as he builds our stateside editorial team and reputation. I'm so excited to watch him take HELLO! US to the next level."
