Immediate Media Co announces strategic partnership with Warner Hotels

Unique weekend breaks bring BBC Gardeners’ World Magazine and BBC History Magazine to life for holidaymakers

Immediate Media Co, the publisher of leading history and gardening publications, BBC History Magazine and BBC Gardeners' World Magazine, has announced a strategic partnership with Warner Hotels, offering unique weekend breaks for history enthusiasts and green-fingered holidaymakers.

Warner Hotels is known for its all-encompassing short breaks across the UK and the new commercial partnership will see Immediate bring its world-class expertise to engage gardening and history enthusiasts in hotels across the UK in dates throughout 2024.

The collaboration with BBC Gardeners’ World Magazine will see Warner Hotels provide an unparalleled horticultural experience at a selection of its 16 hotels across the UK. These adult-only getaways feature talks from Gardeners’ World presenters like Adam Frost and Frances Tophill, access to indoor and outdoor activities, spas, and evening entertainment. Locations include Bodelwyddan Castle Hotel (North Wales), Cricket St. Thomas Hotel (Somerset), and Nidd Hall Hotel (North Yorkshire).

For history enthusiasts, Warner Hotels is also partnering with BBC History Magazine to host special weekend getaways at select hotels. These events feature talks from renowned historians such as Tracy Borman and Michael Wood, covering various historical eras.

Guests can enjoy history quizzes hosted by the BBC History Magazine team, spa experiences, and evening entertainment. Locations include Littlecote House (Hungerford), Holme Lacy House (Herefordshire), and Studley Castle (Warwickshire).
