dmg newmedia and creator media will help advertisers engage vast social audience

London, Wednesday 1st October 2025: Mail Metro Media has unveiled two new dedicated social publishers that will shape the future of news and entertainment for young people around the world.

At its Upfront & Centre event, the company launched dmg newmedia and creator media, which together offer an unparalleled proposition to advertisers looking to captivate social audiences.

dmg newmedia is the home of social news and entertainment for young audiences. Built on Daily Mail’s 150m-strong social following and run by a team of Gen Z creatives and talent, it delivers compelling storytelling, unique shows and original formats across multiple genres.

creator media is the home of multiple social-first, lifestyle brands powered by creators - including fashion and beauty publisher Eliza – that deliver viral, influential content.

Nick Moar will be responsible for all content, creative and operations as Head of dmg newmedia and Jo Bridger, Head of creator media, will lead the editorial team of the lifestyle brands Eliza, Eliza’s Brother and You. In a newly created role, Hannah Blake, Managing Director, Commercial, creator and new media, will lead the commercial team.

Dominic Williams, Chief Revenue Officer, Mail Metro Media, said: “What we are doing with social video across our portfolio is a complete game-changer. It’s incredibly exciting to be unveiling so many bigger and bolder opportunities, and to celebrate Mail Metro Media’s unique ability to create, connect and collaborate with our advertising partners.”

Nick Moar said: “dmg newmedia is a fresh and exciting offering that will define the next generation of news and entertainment for young audiences by fusing the journalistic credibility of Daily Mail with the speed, originality, and creativity of Gen Z social.”

Hannah Blake said: “Our new offering provides a very exciting opportunity for advertisers looking to resonate on social. By combining world-class production, unique original content, exceptional distribution, deep community engagement and trusted creator selection, we have built a one-stop social shop for our advertising partners.”

dmg newmedia launches with three mass-market social brands, Daily Mail, Daily Mail UK, and Mail Sport, and is building a portfolio of specialist channels, based around its audience’s passions. It recently launched The Respawn (gaming), The Spotlight (entertainment) and This Is Money (personal finance for Gen Z), with upcoming channels in health, wellness, technology, food and climate.

creator media’s flagship brand is Eliza, which reaches more than 50m people a month with its relatable and affordable shopping advice for young women. It recently relaunched You Magazine on social, and is developing a new brand focused on a young male audience. Eliza’s Brother will deliver progressive, feel-good content with a cast of positive male role-models at the centre of the content.

The exciting announcements were made in front of 500 advertising partners from agencies and brands at Outernet London during Mail Metro Media’s annual flagship event, hosted by comedian Katherine Ryan. Other presenters on stage included Daily Mail’s Executive Global Head of Video, Lisa Snell; and Mail Metro Media’s Insights Director, Luke Hand.

Chief Client Officer, Hannah Barnett interviewed Paddy Power Online’s Managing Director, Michelle Spillane, who highlighted the publisher’s position as a strategic partner for full-funnel brand partnerships.

The evening’s proceedings concluded with dmg media’s Head of Podcasts, Jamie East speaking with three-time heavyweight world champion boxer, Lennox Lewis.
