Steve Challouma

Senior FMCG Executive

Steve is a seasoned FMCG leader with nearly three decades of experience shaping some of Europe’s most iconic consumer brands. Most recently, he served as Chief Marketing Officer and Executive Board Member at Nomad Foods - the leading branded frozen food company in Europe, operating across 22 markets and reaching over 60% of European households with brands such as Birds Eye, Goodfella’s, Aunt Bessie’s, Iglo and Findus.

Across his career, Steve has held senior global and local leadership roles spanning Marketing and General Management, beginning his journey at Unilever. At Nomad Foods, he previously served as General Manager for Birds Eye UK & Ireland and, before that, as Marketing Director. In this role, he led the turnaround of the Birds Eye brand, delivering three consecutive years of growth and securing the prestigious Grocer Gold Award in 2019 for Best FMCG Brand.

Steve is an active contributor to the industry as a member of the ISBA Council and a Fellow of both The Marketing Society and The Marketing Academy.
