Al is Head of Content at the Independent, heading up video strategy and production. He has built and led content teams for over a decade, launching numerous digital brands and channels and overseeing the development, commissioning and production of hundreds of hours of award-winning programming.

Previously, Al was VP of Content Strategy at Future and Head of Video at VICE Media Group.
