Neil Capel, Founder and Chairman, Sailthru has twice been named to The Silicon Alley 100 (2011 and 2012) as one of New York City’s most influential technology leaders. His successful track record of working on large-scale web systems led him to develop Sailthru’s unique “Smart Data” capabilities, and he will share that experience in his presentation. He will focus on helping understand business maturity level with personalisation and retention efforts, determining the data needed to become retention-first. Promoting the Single Customer View, he will also examine why changing focus from content-centricity to audience-centricity is a key to success, and lay the groundwork for incorporating retention as a key pillar of corporate strategy.
Cathy Ma is the Director of Audience Development from Bauer Media, one of the world’s largest privately owned media businesses and Europe’s largest Radio business, powered by world-class, multi-platform brands including Kiss, Grazia, Q, and Empire. In her presentation, Cathy will share how Bauer’s audience development toolkit helped thedebrief.co.uk triple users in only 10 months through smart use of behaviourally informed audience data, without the injection of additional marketing spend. Cathy specialises in audience engagement strategies and social analytics, promoting smart use of actionable insights. A true digital specialist having spent time at The Telegraph Media Group, Time Inc (IPC titles) and Interbrand to name a few.
