As a valued Member or Client of the AOP, we appreciate the trust you place in us and our team. As we all adjust to a rapidly changing situation, we wanted to share with you the measures that are in place to keep our community safe.
Following the recent advice given from the Government and Chief Medical Officer, we wish to inform you that our team are now working remotely, with normal functionality and naturally, we cannot maintain our usual face-to-face meetings.
All AOP events and group meetings taking place in March 2020 will be postponed until further notice - we are currently exploring all options to provide alternative ways of maintaining the Group Meetings programme and, will be contacting the individuals concerned with further information shortly as these plans develop. We will continue to track developments, and the advice issued by the CMO, on a daily basis; the events taking place in April and May 2020 are currently under review and updates will follow shortly, following further advice.
We remain committed to supporting our members and celebrating publishing excellence, our entries for the AOP Digital Publishing Awards will remain open for final entry submissions until Thursday 19th March 2020. Plans for the ceremony on the 17th June 2020 are proceeding as planned.
