Sublime Skinz announces a year of record growth with increasing demand for skin-based advertising

Industry awards, high-profile partnerships, and a raft of new talent signal a remarkable year for leading skin-based advertising company

 

Sublime Skinz, a leading global provider of skin-based advertising, today announced record growth for 2016. Since the company’s inception four years ago, Sublime Skinz has grown to 80 employees in four offices – New York, Paris, London and San Francisco – and has seen its global revenue multiplied by two globally and by three in UK only, illustrating ever-growing demand for its high impact, non-intrusive ad formats.

 

Sublime Skinz won two prestigious awards in 2016, both relating to its global strategy. In September the company was awarded Ernst & Young’s ‘Born Global’ prize, which recognises a start-up business with strong potential for international development. This was quickly followed in October by the ‘International Trophy of Digital Business,’ awarded by Business France, a national agency responsible for supporting the international development of the French economy.

 

In the UK the company has entered into multiple partnerships with premium publishers including Trinity Mirror Group, Newsquest, Netmums and Perform Group. To support increased demand for skin-based formats from both publishers and agencies, the UK team has expanded rapidly, with Matthew McWilliams and Marie Roussel joining the publisher department, Richard Webb and Sarah Shay Okelola recruited into operations, and Paul Da Bell entering the sales team.

 

Finally, at dmexco 2016 Sublime Skinz launched a new product M-SKINZ, an intelligent format specifically designed for mobile web campaigns. This product follows the company’s DNA, providing non-invasive advertising to advertisers and agencies while taking a huge step towards cross-device; the direction the entire industry is moving.
